About This Course:
The pattern grading course starts from the basic theory of how the body grows in size and covers size charts, cardinal points and a variety of grading increments. Skills and techniques are then developed that allow you to efficiently and accurately scale patterns to a desired size.
This comprehensive online course is a perfect accompaniment to our patternmaking course and uses a unique methodology that allows you to grade patterns 3Dimensionally and accurately in up to 7 sizes with one simple procedure. Never before has Pattern Grading been so accessible to beginners. This course provides the opportunity to apply the pattern grading methodology to a very wide variety of styled blocks covering womenswear, menswear and childrenswear.
Graduates of this course will meet the technical requirements for entry into the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising.
