This qualification is designed for those aspiring to excel as remedial massage therapists, focusing on addressing soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalances and range of motion restrictions. It offers a comprehensive programme that covers advanced massage techniques, client assessment and clinical practice. With a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, including extensive hands-on training, you'll acquire the skills needed to excel in client management and professional practice. This qualification prepares you for a successful career, whether you're self-employed or working within a larger health service, by equipping you with the skills needed to make a significant impact on your clients' well-being.What You'll Learn:
Minimum age of 18 years
Year 11 Australian Senior High School Certificate or equivalent with full academic results
Lower-Intermediate English (equivalent to 4.5 academic IELTS)
Photo ID and evidence of citizenship (international students must provide copy of passport)
Basic computing skills including use of Microsoft Office programmes, in addition to hardware requirements of a portable computer with keyboard, pointing device, speaker, camera and microphone, and a broadband internet connection.
Students who are unable to meet the academic or English language criteria may in some cases be eligble to undertake our Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test. Criteria may change at any time without notice. Additional English language requirements may apply to international applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds wishing to articulate on a visa package into a university programme.
