Course Description
Help children develop and grow with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care. This course teaches students to work within requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. You will learn to care for the emotional and physical well-being of children, provide first aid to children in education and care settings, and develop respectful relationships with children.
They support the implementation of an approved learning framework and support children’s well-being, learning, and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.
This course requires a minimum of 120 hours to be completed in a registered and licensed children’s service over the period of the qualification. Placement must occur for the full duration of the study period.

I have worked in the VET industry with RTO’s for the last 6 years, after working in the Early Years Learning sector for over 16 years in various roles previously.

Fei has been in early childhood field for more than 30 years. During the last 30 years, Fei played different roles within the early childhood field and have taught babies, toddlers, preschoolers, special needs children, refuge children, high school students studying certificate three in child care, and mature students studying certificate 3 and diploma in early childhood education and care in college.
Fei was a director for C&K kindergarten at rural area and a foundation director for kindergarten which was under Queensland government open new 240 Queensland wide kindergartens projects.
