English

    Pass NIET LLN test

TRAINING PLAN

Usually, the 1st stage is trying to get them to familiarise themselves by learning basic theory and simulation strategies to get them familiar with the subject. This will include:

  • Using the Learner Guide/ Power Point based on topic or my resources I use to make subject easy to understand.
  • Simulating a topic, they like ((example a hobby: cars, building, preparing for a wedding etc)
  • Then like driving a car, I would 1st just show them how to either build an IT design, network, Project or what the training schedule is for the week.

2nd stage is allowing them to practice and play really. Information Technology is a subject one needs to stay motivated to achieving the end goal. this is where:

  • The student is given time to have a go and see if they can work through exercises based on the learning
  • Weekly online training. Included recordings. This allows them to not only be online with the trainer but also use the recording to go over in their own time.
  • Resources like MS Teams and other support material is also an aid to maintain weekly communication with the student/ trainer.

3rd stage is using a theory from university where we call this the ‘House kitchen practices’. Based on research, universities find students progressed more with the lecturer when the lecturer spends small amount of time with the student’s teaching theory. They then emphasis rather on what the student prefers to learn on the subject, assessment or case studies. This allows the student to focus more and it shows them their progress towards achieving results.
